This set has strong steel hoops which are easy to set into the ground and there is a rubber mallet supplied which won't damage the hoops. If they get loose we just bang them in a bit further. The mallets are round headed hardwood in two shaft lengths and play very well. The balls are regulation size and weight and of composite material so very durable and maintenance free. The metal clips are of excellent quality and will last for years. Corner flags are very attractive and bring colour to your croquet lawn, the centre peg does not have an extension for clips but otherwise conforms to the regulations.

  4 - hardwood mallets with octagonal multi ply handles - approximately
        3lbs each;
         2 – 97cm (38”) Mallets with 23cm (9”) x 8cm (3”) Hardwood Head

         2 – 87cm (34”) Mallets with 23cm (9”) x 8cm (3”) Hardwood Head

    4 - 16oz composite balls 9cm (3 5/8”) in diameter

    6 - Steel hoops (11mm diameter) – 43cm (17 1/2”) high, 10cm (4”) wide,
         dipped to 13cm (5 1/2”) to leave regulation 30cm (12”) above ground
   1 - Hoop “smasher” mallet with rubber head (important as the rubber
         protects the hoops)
   4 - Corner flags
   4 - Coloured metal croquet clips
   1 - Hardwood Centre peg 53cm (21") high x 4cm (1 1/2") in diameter
