This set has strong steel hoops which are easy to set into the ground. They will never be as firm as hoops with carrots as in the Championship set but we use them a lot and there is a rubber mallet supplied which won't damage the hoops. If they get loose we just bang them in a bit further. The mallets are round headed hardwood and play very well. The balls are wooden so will lose their colour over time and may need re-painting in the future. They are the same size as regulation but are lighter so ideal for smaller gardens. Corner flags are very attractive and bring colour to your croquet lawn as well as marking the corners.

This set is good value and is supplied with two different sizes of mallet to enable differing height adults to play with a suitably sized mallet.
The set includes:

4 - hardwood mallets of approximately 2lb 13oz each;
        2 - 97cm (38”) Mallet with 23cm (9”) x 8cm (3”) Hardwood Head
        2 - 87cm (34”) Mallet with 23cm (9”) x 8cm (3”) Hardwood Head
4 - 12oz wooden balls 9cm (3 5/8”) in diameter
6 - Steel hoops (11mm diameter) – 43cm (17 1/2”) high, 10cm (4”) wide,
        dipped to 13cm (5.5”) to leave regulation 30cm (12”) above ground
1-  Hoop “smasher”  mallet with rubber head (important as the rubber
        protects the hoops)
4 - Corner flags
1 - Hardwood Centre peg 53cm (21") high x 4cm (1 1/2") in diameter

The set can be supplied with a Nylon Bag, Wooden Trolley, or a Wooden Box.
