This set has tubular steel hoops with carrots so that they stay firmly set even after a lot of play. There is a hoop drill and rubber mallet. For our ground at Bygrave this mallet isn't heavy enough so we use a more industrial one which works well. The hoop drill saves a lot of time and you can tap them the last little bit with the rubber mallet. The mallets have round English Ash heads which are brass bound for strength and have octagonal ash shafts and leather grips. The shape makes it easy to hold the mallet on the correct line. Two different sizes are supplied in the set which is handy. The balls are regulation size and weight and of composite material so very durable and maintenance free. The metal clips are of excellent quality and will last for years. Corner flags are very attractive and bring colour to your croquet lawn. They have steel poles and are very easy to set up. The centre peg has an extension for clips and conforms to the regulations.

  4 - English Ash mallets with brass protective rings and octagonal English
